True Acupuncture is about taking care of, listening to, and understanding
the individual in his/her current state of health,
and not about the application of theoretical protocols.
Did you know that acupuncture is not only for pain management? Most don't realize that acupuncture treats allergies, acid reflux, infertility, digestive complaints, insomnia, and fibromyalgia, just to name a few. And what about Chinese herbs?
Herbs for menopause, allergies, constipation, fatigue provide a natural means to address such issues.
During my studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I met an individual who introduced me to a more Classical form of acupuncture, True Acupuncture. It was at this time that I realized that Classical True Acupuncture filled in the missing piece that TCM did not address for me. It was how I had imagined acupuncture to be - a "truer" fully individualized root form of acupuncture than TCM, which has evolved into a more standardized & herbalized form of acupuncture.
Most importantly, the benefits to you - the patient - are enormous, as True Acupuncture relies on detailed pulse taking & precise point location to maximize therapeutic results with minimal number of needles and treatments. With this style, the patient can expect longer lasting results, so treatments are only as needed (rarely more than once per week), unlike other treatment plans which may require a patient to return 2-3 times per week.
I also provide traditional style Chinese Herbal Medicine in the Denver Metro area with a full herbal pharmacy of high quality raw herbs. Don't worry, I won't have you soak, cook, soak, and cook your herbs! Patients can expect a convenient and easy way to prepare herbal teas, in order to receive the strongest and fastest results.
This clinic is also a provider of Cosmetic Acupuncture in Centennial, Colorado, performed according to the Classical True Acupuncture philosophy.
