Many of the provider types represented on the site do not operate under a license in any state; similarly, licensure laws for a given practice type may vary from state-to-state. It is your responsibility as a patient and consumer to verify the credentials and license of any health care provider you visit, including those listed on the Medfinds site.

If you have any doubts as to the legality of services being rendered by a school or educational program, contact the U.S. Department of Education
or your regional accreditation office.
back to topWhy did my search return no listings?
Many times a specific search will return no listings, with a message "Your search returned no results." This may be because you have placed too many limits on the search (i.e. the search has been narrowed too far). First try broadening the limits of your search, for instance searching by state instead of zip code. If this doesn't work, it is possible that our database contains no matches for the information submitted in your search.
